Top Six 2014 Release I’m Dying To Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish.

I have a confession – I’m not so good about keeping up with what books are going to be released when.  I mean, the books I’m super anxious for I know about, but otherwise, not so much.  So, I only came up with six for this week’s TTT.

In no particular order . . .

1.  Cress by Marissa Meyer
Releases on February 4, 2014
Seriously, I’m most excited for this book, I think.

2.  Jasper Dent #3 by Barry Lyga
I haven’t heard when this book will be released (or what the title will be), but I need it RIGHT NOW!  I loved both I Hunt Killers and Game and the ending of Game was a killer.

3.  Going Rogue by Robin Benway
Releases on January 14, 2014
More Maggie, Roux, Jesse Oliver and Angelo – yes, please!

4.  City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare
Releases on May 27, 2014
I still haven’t read book 5 – I’m waiting for this one to be out first.  The last TMI book!

5.  Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins
Releases on May 13, 2014
I’m pretty sure we’re all super excited about this one.

6.  Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Releases on August 5, 2014
The last Lux book.  What am I going to do when this series is over?

What books are you excited for?

Great picks, Quinn! I couldn’t bring myself to list ISLA for the third year in a row, but I’m eager to read it whenever it’s ready 🙂 And oh yes, Going Rogue! I didn’t realize that Heavenly Fire was the last TMI book. Exciting! Looks like 2014 will be a good year in books.

I’d better add Isla and the Happily Ever After. I can never stock enough love stories for my students tastes.

Everyone talks about the Cinder and the Lux series so lovingly that I HAVE to put them on my to read list. It’s so hard to “catch up” when you’re behind on a series. Great list. We have “Isla” on ours too!

Some great choices here and you have just reminded me how much I want to read that first AKA book. Gah! Too little time…

Ohh! City of Heavenly Fire. I’m excited for that one, just because I need to just finish that series. I may have to do a massive re-read though, just so I’m fully prepared for whatever may come.

    My Top Ten

I can’t believe I forgot City of Heavenly Fire!!! Maybe because it feels like the last book came out forever ago?? But still… geeze!! I am so excited for it!! I still need to read Cinder. I think I’ll wait until Cress is out and then read all 3.
