The House of Hades (The Heroes of Olympus #4) by Rick Riordan
I am loving this series.  Rick Riordan is such a fun writer.  I’ve got the audiobook of this one.  I’m going to start listening to it today.

Life Tidbits

  • I grabbed lunch with my cousin on Friday, and it was so nice to sit and chat.  I hadn’t seen her in ages.  We talked books!
  • The ignition of my car actually froze, and I wasn’t able to get my car started earlier this week.  I had to borrow my grandmother’s car.  It’s weird, because it isn’t nearly as cold as it was earlier in the year.  My dad fixed it, though.  Yay for awesome dads!
  • My Filofax came Friday, and it’s so pretty.
  • I have a four day weekend!  Friday-Monday I am free of work.  Woot!
  • I had a major hankering for Newsies this week, so I broke out my soundtrack.  Well, I started playing the playlist on my phone.  I feel like I need to see it again on Broadway.  Twice is not enough, right Fansies?
  • I haven’t read much at all this week.  I need to get back into the reading groove.  How’s your reading week going?

My reading week has been good! I’ve read Split Second and Ignite Me, so I’m very happy! I have a week off next week too. Always good! I hope you enjoy your books this week!

Do you like your Filofax? I sort of want one, but I don’t know that I would have enough use for it to justify paying the money. Lol. I haven’t really been reading too much either. I was really into it again for a while and then the last few days… nothing. Oh well! I hope you’re having a good week. 😀

I LOVE my filofax, but I can totally understand debating about spending so much money. I decided to invest, because I’ve gone the last five years or so without a planner, and I’ve just become more and more disorganized. I’m hoping my filofax will help me stay on track and get more organized.

I really thought about how I would use it, before I bought one, to make sure I wouldn’t loose interest in it. But there are lots of other alternatives to the Filofax brand that will give you similar results, I think. I really like the Erin Condren planners. They’re still a little pricy, but not as much as a Filofax. But they’re so cute. Although they’re not binders, so you can’t rearrange things.
