New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh's new contemporary romance novella is pure hard rock and scorching heat...

What happens when the Gentleman of Rock decides to play dirty?

A drummer for the hottest rock band on the planet, David has a single, powerful weakness: Thea, the band's publicist and the woman who steals his breath away with her every move.

Only problem is, Thea doesn't date clients--or musicians. Emotionally scarred by a cheating ex, she's not about to risk her heart with a man who has groupies buzzing around him like flies. Even if his sexy smile ties her up in knots.

What she doesn't know is that David is a one-woman man...and he's madly in love with her. David's determined to prove he's worth the risk, and willing to court her, step by exquisite step. Thea's about to discover just how long and hard this handsome drummer can play.

I’ve only read one full length novel, Rock Hard, and one novella, Rock Courtship, but Nalini Singh, but I think it’s safe to say that I’m a total fangirl of hers now. So many times novellas are a let down. They’re not easy to write, because they are so short. But you guys, Nalini Singh knows what she’s doing because I absolutely LOVED Rock Courtship!

In this novella, David, the drummer from successful band Schoolboy Choir, is pursuing the bands publicist, Thea. Thea was burned by her fiancé, so she’s hesitant to get into another relationship, even though her engagement ended a bit ago. And of course, Thea does not get involved with her clients. But David has practically been in love with Thea since the beginning, and now that Thea is free, he can’t resist pursuing her.

David is seriously such a nice guy. He’s not a player, even though he’s part of this super popular band. That’s not to say he hasn’t been with women, because he has. David has a wonderful family and you can see why he turned out the way he did. You know what else is pretty cool about Rock Courtship? David is shorter and two years younger than Thea. Isn’t that awesome?

The way David pursues Thea is freaking adorable – and hot too. He starts off writing memos to her, and holy cow they are steamy. Thea is pretty darn amazing, too. She’s a successful businesswoman, and she also has a wonderful family. Thea is pretty wary, though, about starting something with David, given his profession, her recent relationship experience, and the fact that he’s a client.

Thea and David take things slow, and when they do come together it’s amazing. I really appreciated that there wasn’t a lot of angst. These guys talk things out! Although they do have a fight every once in awhile, which is normal.

Basically I just love Rock Courtship. I loved learning more about the band, and I cannot wait to read more in this series.

This was such a cute story , and I loved David too!! Such a charmer. I love everything this author has written, she is just fantastic, and it doesn’t matter which genre she writes in. Although I will say Rock Hard is one of my favorite books ever. But she handles Novella’s in the right way.

I only read one book by her, but totally enjoyed her writing. The fact that she knows how to handle a novella and make it right, makes me sooo happy

I haven’t read her contemporaries yet since I’m still working through her Psy-changling series. But these do sound adorable. Naughty memos. 🙂

I’m so happy you liked this! Nalini really is amazing in any genre she writes. David is probably my favorite of the Schoolboy Choir guys. And I loved that he was shorter and younger than Thea as well. Very different! I hope you enjoy the rest of the series just as much as this one.
