A mom…just in time for Christmas?

Beautiful, bubbly nurse Lara King just can't resist a little girl's Christmas wish—for her daddy to be happy—so she steps in as the sexy ER consultant's new live-in nanny!

Christian Blake lost his faith in love a long time ago, but now, as Lara fills his house with warmth and sparkle, he realizes that she's his once-in-a-lifetime chance for happiness.

As the first snowflakes start to fall, he can only hope that Christmas will weave its magic and Lara will accept the special present waiting for her under the tree…

I have been on an epic Sarah Morgan category romance bender not too long ago, and The Magic of Christmas has been my favorite of the ones I’ve read.

The Magic of Christmas is about nurse Lara King, and ER doctor Christian Blake. While moonlighting as an elf for a Santa stop, she discovers that Christian has two daughters. When Lara discovers that Christian is down a nanny again, she can’t resist offering to help him out throughout the holidays. Lara will be the fill-in nanny throughout the holiday season, while Christian finds a full-time nanny.

I absolutely loved Lara, who was so adorable and friendly. She was fantastic with Christian’s daughters, and she was exactly what they needed. And Christian was pretty great, too. He obviously has some issues, but he works through them with Lara’s help.

I should say that The Magic of Christmas isn’t really all that realistic. I mean, Christian and Lara fall for each other in the course of a month tops. And how Lara just has this magic touch with the girls is pretty convenient. But, you know what, I didn’t really mind. I had such a great time reading this very quick Christmas romance. I definitely need to read more Sarah Morgan. While this book isn’t for everyone, if you’re looking for a quick, sweet holiday category romance, I highly recommend The Magic of Christmas by Sarah Morgan.

I have discovered I don’t mind Christmas romances not being particularly religious as long as they’ve got the right Christmas-y feel. So far I’ve only read the Sarah Morgan series that takes place at the ski resort in Vermont (whose name is escaping me!) and I really enjoyed it. I have several more of her books but for some reason I keep pushing them to the bottom of my list. I need to fix that and pick this one up soon!

This sounds really sweet! I love cute holiday romances so I may need to check this out someday.
