Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish.
This week, TTT is a Cover-Themed Freebie. I decided to go kind of boring (because I’m tired and have been super busy) and list my favorite romance covers of books I’ve actually read. I may not have loved the book, but I loved the cover.
In no particular order . . .
Act Like It by Lucy Parker
It’s playful, and romantic, and really represents the book. Which I love, BTW.
Pretty Face by Lucy Parker
Seriously, Lucy Parker has lucked out on the cover department. I love love this. It’s sweet, and the seem to really care about each other. I love how his hand is caressing her face. Another book I loved.
Brighter Than the Sun by Julia Quinn
I love swans. And I love the monochromatic look with the pop of color for the text. Also, who doesn’t love roses? I love this oldie JQ. I should re-read it.
Accidentally on Purpose by Jill Shalvis
The cover palette is so pleasing. I also love how she’s standing on something to make her taller than him, and how he’s holding her.
Ten Things I Love About You by Julia Quinn
I love girls in pretty dresses. I love all the write. I love the way she’s looking up at the camera.
Tempt Me Like This by Bella Andre
Although this image in on a zillion romance covers (seriously it’s on three ebooks that I own. It’s a total pain), I just love it. The way the light is behind them, and they just seem so sweet together.
Talk Sweetly to Me by Courtney Milan
I’m a sucker for a girl in a pink dress.
When a Scot Ties the Knot by Tessa Dare
This is my favorite Tessa Dare cover. I love the mint color, with the pops of teal and baby pinnk. I love the pose. I love the bow in her hair.
My American Duchess by Eloisa James
When I first saw this cover, I didn’t love it. But it’s really grown on me. It’s even prettier in person. I love the sparkles in her dress, and how she’s standing with her face away from the camera.
Last First Kiss by Lia Riley
It’s just so freaking adorable.
A Rogue by Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean
If only I loved the book as much as I love this cover.
What are some of your favorite covers of books you’ve read?
