She refuses to trust him.
Red Stone Security employee Dominique Castle knows all too well that there are people in this world she just can't trust. After losing both her parents, Dominique keeps her distance from anyone tied to her past—especially the man she's hated for years. And Viktor Ivanov isn't going to change her mind about who he really is—no matter how determined the infuriatingly sexy Russian is.
He's determined to win her over.
She may hate him and not trust him, but Viktor is determined to crack through Dominique's icy exterior one way or another—even if it means taking the game into his own hands. With a past like Viktor's, he's made more than a few enemies along the way—enemies who'll stop at nothing to take him down. When Viktor realizes Dominique's life is in danger because of him, he’ll stop at nothing to protect her—whether she likes it or not. Now it's up to Dominique to trust the one man who's linked to the agony of her past. Can she find a way to love the enemy she always loathed?
Oh my goodness, I loved this book so much more than I was expecting to! Love Thy Enemy by Katie Reus is the 13th Red Stone Security book, and it’s right up there with my favorites (along with Danger Next Door). Love Thy Enemy is about Dominique Castle, a Red Stone Security employee, and Viktor Ivanov, a businessman whose Russian gangster father is connected to Dominique’s past.
Love Thy Enemy totally surprised me. Although I did expect to enjoy it, I was nervous that the storyline wouldn’t really be my thing. But I was so wrong and I just loved it. Viktor was amazing, and he’s definitely one of my favorite heroes! He’s intelligent, and protective and totally alpha at times. But other times he’s unsure of himself, and those little bouts of doubt really made me fall for him.
Dominique was fantastic too. I loved how Dominique had worked so hard to overcome her past. And I loved how she was able to separate Viktor with her horrible past. It was difficult for her, and I admired her for not blaming Viktor for what his father did to her family. Viktor and Dominique were so perfect for each other. I loved them together so much, it was crazy!
If you enjoy quick, fast-paced romantic suspense with great heroes and heroines, you have to give this series a try. Love Thy Enemy by Katie Reus is one of the best.
