Top Ten Tuesday

This year has been a difficult one for me reading wise. I’ve been in a reading funk the whole year, and the last month or so I was in a pretty bad reading slump. But I have read some great books this year, and I really loved seeing how many books I’ve read that I really loved.

A little housekeeping …

I think I’m out of my reading slump! I have been reading more regularly, and I’m so happy about it. So I am all set to come back to blogging regularly on July 3. I’m really excited about it.

Sorry to hear you’ve been in a reading slump this year! So have I, though there are spurts when I do get into a book like before, but it’s weird. Glad to hear the latest Julia Quinn novel was great! Need to check that book out soon-ish, hahaha.

I’m so sorry about your reading slump but I’m glad that you’re coming out of it! I loved Accidentally on Purpose and can’t wait for Chasing Christmas Eve! I also have Lauren Graham’s book and am excited to read that one too!

Reading Slumps are just horrible, so I am glad you are coming out of yours. I recently just got out of mine, and its wonderful to be back reading again. I loved Marrying Winterborne so much, Rhys makes such a great hero, he really surprised me in the end there. So I am so glad to see that one on your list here.

I’m glad Julia Quinn is still on your list. I want to read that one but need to read that Bridgerton offshoot first.

  5. Katherine @ I Wish I Lived in a Library

I finally read Accidentally on Purpose which was my first from that series and I loved it! I can’t wait to read Chasing Christmas Eve! The Julia Quinn and the Lisa Kleypas are both on my TBR and I’m really hoping to read Lucy Parker soon. I have her first book in the series which is all your fault.

  6. Stephanie @ Once Upon a Chapter

Congrats on working past your slump! Those can be super hard. I picked up Julia Quinn’s book at ALA. I’m excited to read it.

Here’s to hoping that the other half of 2017 is good to you reading and blogging-wise. 🙂

Pretty Face and Marrying Winterborne were wonderful. I need to read Accidentally on Purpose soon. I have really enjoyed that series and Elle/Archer has been a long time coming.

I loved Accidentally on Purpose, but I love the next book even more. It’s Called Chasing Christmas Eve, and it’s adorable. It comes out in September, I think.
